The Brain Film Fest is an international film festival about the brain promoted by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and co-organized by Minimal Films. Through audiovisual creation and scientific dissemination, it shows citizens, in a close way, the polyhedral reality of the brain, from its capacities to its diseases and conditions. It is the only festival in Europe of these characteristics and has been held annually since 2018 at the Barcelona Center for Contemporary Culture (CCCB) within the framework of World Brain Week, a global campaign to increase knowledge about the brain and the advancement and research benefits.
