Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival

A sample of the best national and international horror movies.

The Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival was held continuously from 1973 to 1990. In 2001, after a break of ten years, it was relaunched in its current format.

The festival has three objectives: to be a platform for new filmmakers, to become a meeting point for the country’s audio-visual industry and to become established as a space for new audiences, with sessions aimed at young people.

Since 2014, the festival has been part of the EFFFF (European Federation of Fantastic Film Festivals) and awards the Mélièsd’argentprize to the best European short fantasy film.
