An amazing programme of cinema created by women.
Barcelona International Women’s Film Festival, organized by Drac Màgic, a flagship institution for over four decades, promotes the visibility of women’s audio-visual culture. With a programme of directors from all over the world, since 1993 the Festival has enjoyed the support of various bodies, as well as the main public institutions at a local and national level.
Its programme encompasses productions of all film genres and is complemented by workshops, courses, conferences, an on-line space and numerous activities that take place throughout the year, such as the Video of the Minute. This event is a stimulating invitation to participate in the construction of a collective documentary made by women with or without experience behind the cameras.
