An original and diverse look at the best current Francophone films.
Ohlalà! is the first festival in the city of Barcelona devoted to Francophone films. Created in 2018, its aim is to introduce the best recent Francophone films, subtitled in Spanish or Catalan, with a selection of unscreened works presented at some of the main international festivals.
Ohlalà! consists of two sections: an official section of unscreened films and a retrospective devoted to a Francophone director, such as Agnès Jaoui. Each year the films come from countries which form the French-speaking world: France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Maghreb, Francophone Africa, Québec…
In the screenings you can enjoy the presence of the main characters involved: directors and actors of the films or other film professionals. Ohlalà! pays tribute to the diversity of views of the world offered by Francophone films and to the range of emotions which they evoke in us.
