Cerdanya International Film Festival

The Cerdanya International Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cinema de Cerdanya) was founded in 2010 as a short film competition that showcases the heritage, nature, landscape and people in the area, and is now one of the most important events in the Girona region.

To help complement the existing tourism events on offer, subsequent editions of the festival have consolidated it into a key event for independent cinema in which feature-length films have taken a privileged place on the programme.

In addition, a series of parallel activities bring cinema to the wider public: from traditional sessions to late night and children’s sessions, without forgetting workshops and conferences for film industry professionals, exhibitions and guided tours around the main industry attractions in Puigcerdà.
