Festival Internacional de Cinema de Crítica Social

Festival Protesta aims to use cinema as a medium for social critique, always in a constructive and creative way.

To do this the festival uses two methods: screening films featuring social criticism (including feature films, an international short film competition and children’s cinema with values), and through a series of parallel activities related to cinema and/or social critique.

Protesta, a festival that defines itself as an activist, aims to offer a voice to initiatives and show injustices that are rarely ever seen on screen.
