The Asian Film Festival Barcelona | AFFBCN is an Asian arthouse film festival. This year marks its thirteenth edition, which will be held from October 30th to November 9th, 2025. From the beginning, the Festival maintains its hallmarks, and each edition brings together more than a hundred films representative of the most recent independent Asian cinema. Obviously, this program brings into play the physical, human, political, economic, and social geographies of a space located between Central Asia and Asia-Pacific, crossing South Asia and Southeast Asia. The AFFBCN divides its programming into six sections: Official, Official Panorama, Discoveries, NETPAC, Special, and New Perspectives, all in competition.

L'Asian Film Festival Barcelona | AFFBCN és un festival de cinema asiàtic d'autor. Aquest any arriba a la seva tretzena edició, que se celebrarà del 30 d'octubre al 9 de novembre del 2025. L'AFFFBCN concedirà divuit premis: a la millor pel·lícula, millor director i millor guió per a cadascuna de les sis seccions a concurs. Les temàtiques que s'incorporen a cada edició es tradueixen en narratives compromeses individualment i socialment, posant èmfasi en els temes de gènere i identitat, sostenibilitat i actualitat. La informació que ens transmeten es converteixen en instruments per a la construcció d'un pensament crític que tant necessitem.
