Dart is where cinema, art, and cultural heritage come together. It is a film festival dedicated to the visual arts, pioneering in Spain and Latin America.
Its main goal is to connect the visual arts and knowledge with a broad audience. It does so through documentaries on photography, painting, performance, architecture, curating, and artistic movements, with a special focus on artists, their creative processes, and the stories behind their works.
In 2026, DART celebrates its tenth anniversary, reaffirming its position as a leading cultural event dedicated to promoting contemporary art and visual thinking through cinema.
To mark the occasion, the festival will present a special programme from 8 October to 25 November across various venues in the city, as part of Barcelona’s World Capital of Architecture 2026. The highlight will take place from 26 to 28 November, with three intensive days of screenings and activities at Cinemes Bosque.
A very special edition celebrating ten years of bringing the visual arts closer to the public and strengthening DART’s role as a space for discovery, reflection and cultural exchange.
