Organised entirely by a team aged between 18 and 24, u22 is committed to socially engaged cinema as a tool for reflection and critique, aiming to create a space for thought and for sharing young people's perspectives on the challenges and concerns of the contemporary world.

The Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona thus becomes a physical hub for the exhibition, promotion, and connection of young filmmakers, with the goal of building community and new projects, as well as fostering synergies towards a stronger and more sustainable audiovisual industry.
