CFF+
Open and diverse film festivals
Under the umbrella of CFF+, we unite our efforts to promote accessibility, sustainability, and diversity, working from a feminist and peace-building perspective to broaden our audiences. Through these tools, CFF and its associated festivals and exhibitions are preparing to serve audiences better and, thus, achieve the universalization of the right to culture.
Accessibility
In recent years, we have strengthened accessibility for our audiences, collaborating entities, and contractors, promoting the implementation of the entire accessibility chain and fostering non-discriminatory and inclusive practices for people with disabilities and groups at risk of exclusion. We continue to train ourselves, network, and work to implement resources that reach end users.
Sustainability
In recent years, we’ve worked on reducing and improving waste management, reusing materials, collaborating with sustainable and local suppliers, and calculating and offsetting our carbon footprint. We continue to educate ourselves, network, and work to implement resources that also reach our audiences.
Diversity and Gender Perspective
Catalunya Film Festivals is a non-profit association whose decisions are made through participatory and democratic consensus. A gender and diversity perspective is applied in its daily operations and in joint projects with partner and collaborating entities. Diversity, accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability are part of the organization’s DNA; non-discriminatory practices are embedded in the decision-making and day-to-day execution of the association and its projects. We collaborate with local suppliers who align with these values, preferably SMEs and cooperatives in the social and solidarity economy.
